1. Acceptance of the November minutes
2. Merchandise sales
• Bob noted that Lynda would be willing to organize a merchandising plan for the online store
3. Update on use of Mercy Medical property
• Rich, Jean, and Bob met with a Nampa Park and Rec representative and a Mercy Medical representative. We have permission to use any of the backside grounds that are needed, including the piece by the tennis courts.
• About 75 acres have been donated to Park and Rec near Missouri Ave, but the property has not been developed enough for use yet.
4. Discuss Nampa KIDS involvement in use of new property
• The property development is progressing, and the city is expecting it to be ready for practice in the Spring. The city is looking to Nampa KIDS for proposals on how to outfit the park for soccer use.
• HNHY might be a good funding source for this project.
5. Press release update
• I am awaiting one more bio before sending a press release.
6. Website update
• New site design available for preview at http://nampakids.org.
• We prefer to transition to new site sooner rather than later.
• Items to potentially address before the old site is taken down:
• ScoreSports.com product images for store
• Menu development: About Us, Mission Statement, Meeting Minutes, etc.
• Develop new content, import content from old site
• Registration Form
• Field map
• Incorporate existing Nampa KIDS logo in header
7. Next board meeting
• The next board meeting is scheduled for January 8 at 6:30 pm in the Winter Room at Mercy Medical Center.
