- Acceptance of February 26 meeting minutes.
- Minutes of last meeting were accepted as given.
- Newsletter & player/team notification
- Lynda produced a draft of the newsletter for the board to review.
- Coach recruitment and training
- Bob is coordinating with Jeff for the recruitment and training of coaches.
- Uniform update
- The Score bill for uniforms came to approximately $10,480. They are scheduled to come in on the 30th.
- Game schedule
- Game schedules will be available on the 24th.
- Swap/sale plans
- The sale will run from 11:30 to 4:00 on the 17th and 11:00 to 4:00 on the 24th.
- Merchandise is still arriving for the event.
- Jean will be processing the credit cards live on the laptop.
- Volunteer and scholarship updates
- About 20 people showed up at the scholarship meeting on Saturday.
- Kea will coordinate getting teen volunteers from the schools after the parents are assigned. [Kea has resigned, so this needs to be addressed.]
- Matt will need two volunteers on March 5th.
- Referee update
- Matt suggested putting together a list of our accepted modifications to the rules so that new or visiting referees have an easy reference, particularly with regard to offside calls and direct and indirect kicks.
- This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be a full USSA Level 8 certification through Sal.
- Matt’s intent is to take the assignor certification.
- Referee checks, W-2s, and W-9s will be stored in the information booth for distribution.
- Referee schedule should ideally be database driven in the future so that referees can select their name from a pulldown menu and see the games they are assigned to.
- Software/hardware
- Need for new laptop by end of season
- LO Version 9 upgrade
- Website updates and e-mail addresses
- DNS has been switched and the old domain is now the primary one for the new site.
- Anyone needing an online form on the website should forward a Word document to Kevin (

) listing the form name, a list of fields (with asterisks next to required fields), and any other pertinent information required for the form.
- Camp
- Kevin will produce a web form for parents for the soccer camp registration with the following form fields:
- First, last, kids’ names and ages, address, e-mail, phone, checkbox for agreement to bring medical release, popup with medical release for printing, print form for payment or PayPal payment immediately.
- Dates for camps are March 24 and August 25.
- Flo proposed arranging a meeting for his volunteers Friday night, March 23rd in his high school auditorium.
- Parent orientation
- Jason has committed to organizing a parent orientation meeting with the objective of educating parents about the goals of the organization, how to be a good cheer leader, etc.
- Update on BGC and ID badges
- Board members need to print and fill out a BGC form.
- Field layout
- There was discussion on the sizes and the dimensions of the goal boxes. Dusty and Rich are meeting Dave Trussell on Friday the 16th to work on layout. Dusty and Rich will be working on the physical layout and painting with volunteers on Saturday at noon.
- Kids’ Cup Coordinator
- Not discussed due to time constraints.
- Communication Booth
- Satellite booth worker needed for $40/day every Saturday for seven weeks during the season. This worker will show up at 9:30 to pick up materials from BJ in the main booth.
- Next board meeting
- The next board meeting is scheduled for April 9 at 6:30 pm in the Winter Room at Mercy Medical Center.
