    • Rich Forcier has officially stepped down as Treasurer due to job relocation.
    • With three executive board members present, Trudy Garringer, CPA was unanimously voted in as a fourth executive board member in the role of Treasurer.
    • Kevin will find a form online to register this board change with the Secretary of State.
  2. Medicaid partnership proposal
    • Bob gave an overview of the Medicaid proposal to Trudy. The board voted unanimously to enter the voucher program.
    • Bob will get the necessary paperwork filled out and report at the next general meeting.
  3. Upcoming elections
    • All board members agreed to serve another term if elected.
  4. Office space update
    • The board agreed to rent the office space researched by Bob at approx. $590/mo. Most monthly meetings can be held there, saving up to $100 per month in Mercy Medical room rental fees.
    • For larger gatherings, Kareen Allen can be contacted at Skyview for scheduling the auditorium.
    • Trudy offered to call Nampa High to find out about availability.
  5. HNHY response
    • This item will be put on the June agenda.
  6. Referee update
    • Matt reported that the referee program is going well. He has gotten both positive and negative feedback on various referees, but has been able to work closely with referees for a better game experience.
    • Arturo will be asked to join the board in an official Field Coordinator position.
    • KIDS Cup tickets will be offered to anyone who turns in Referee Evaluation Forms and Game Reports this weekend.
  7. Schedules out on May 12th.  Games for MID & U10 on Thurs & Fri (No practices and need fields set up.)
    • Arturo will need to do lines on Wednesday night.
    • Dusty will coordinate with Arturo on the timing and also on getting the orange lines painted on the U7 & U8 fields.
  8. Coach Equipment turn-in
    • Bob will contact Jeff to communicate about this.
    • Last year no one showed up for the wrap-up meeting.
  9. Field Breakdown
    • Last season, the equipment was broken down at the end of the last day of games. This year, we will schedule Monday, 6:00 to 8:30 pm, for a wrap-up meeting and tear-down of equipment.
    • Kevin will post this event to the website calendar.
  10. Upward games
    • Matt Salisbury and Bob have been talking about getting together to coordinate getting a couple Upward teams together with ours for some games.
    • Kevin will send an e-mail to select coaches to gauge interest in setting up a weeknight practice scrimmage with these Upwards teams.
  11. Newsletter on Kid's Cup
    • We will try to get a May newsletter together by Thursday evening to distribute this Saturday.  Content items are welcome from any Board Members.

  13. Kids Cup

    • Bergies, Starvin' Marvin's will sell food, along with La Parilla and a Kettle Corn vendor.
    • Nampa KIDS may purchase cookies and other baked goods to sell for tickets.
    • Steve Rudy would like to have his RV over at the Mercy Medical field for Registration, and to sell tickets, water, pop and baked goods for Nampa KIDS, along with an Astro Jump that he can get through Quest. (Bob to check with Mercy to see if it is okay to have the Astro Jump there.) Liberty Park will have another Astro Jump, at least one inflatable obstacle course and a dunk tank. Tickets will be $.25 each or 23 for $5.00 or 50 for $10.00.
    • We will need approx. 2,350 t-shirts.
    • A DJ is scheduled to be there with the exception of a several-hour timeslot during the day. The equipment will be left playing, and we will be responsible for keeping it safe.
    • Kevin suggested for future events getting 98.7 Air 1 or another family friendly radio station to broadcast live from the park. The goal would be to promote character for kids and families in the community, provide a family friendly environment for events, and to provide additional regional visibility for the organization.
    • After a flier is prepared for KIDS Cup, Kevin will write a press release for distribution to the local newspapers and television stations.
  14. Fall Registration
    • This item will be discussed further by e-mail

Respectfully Submitted by Kevin Harper, Secretary
